Sweet Annie - Springville, AL

No one can tell you the immense amount of joy that an animal brings to your life, nor the pain and deep void that comes when we have to say goodbye to our fur babies. My sweet Amos Lee was a Boston Terrier and he was almost 11 years old when we made the difficult decision to let him go across the rainbow bridge. After about 6 months of him declining and going to vet after vet, and having multiple procedures and surgeries, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Oh how my heart aches when I think of that sweet boy. He was the BEST companion to me. Even after our girls were born, he didn't become “just a dog” to me. He was always with me. Wherever I went in the house, he was sure to follow…even in his last days. When we went to our neighbors house, or we were playing in the yard, he was just ALWAYS there. I tried to soak up every ounce of time that I had left with him and let him know how much I loved him.

It has been 8 months since my sweet boy left us and I still find myself looking for him. Waiting for him to run toward me when I come in the door. Waiting for him to sit on his stool in the living room when we cozy up to watch movies. Amos was my best buddy and my heart has grown by a million percent having the opportunity to love him. Amos will never be forgotten and he will never be replaced. He is the first pet that my children will remember. What a joy he was! For a while I thought how will I ever be able to have any other dog, but I realized my heart can not live without a doggie in it.

I want you to meet the newest member of the Lansdon household!!! We got our Sweet Annie girl a few weeks ago! She is full of spunk and is a completely adorable little 3.5 pound ball of fluff!! The girls are crazy about her and if truth be told, I think my husband Adam is pretty smitten with her too! She is a cuddler and she cant be close enough to you! But yall… I forgot how hard these newborn puppy days can be! I feel like a new Mama again waking up every 2-3 hours at night to let her out! Ha! Annie is a Mini Goldendoodle and will be about 20-25 lbs when she is fully grown. I know that she will help our hearts continue to heal and we are looking forward to her being a part of our family. She has already brought us so much joy! I hope you enjoy these adorable pictures of her!!
