I’m Angie!

I’m so glad you’ve stopped by! I am a newborn, child, and family photographer in Birmingham, Springville, Trussville, and the surrounding areas. As your family photographer, I will capture real life moments with ALL of those precious details so you can cherish them for a lifetime. I promise you, there will be lots of fun and giggles!

When I’m not photographing or spending time with my family, I work at the local pediatrician office as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I’ve been in pediatric nursing for more than 20 years. So you can rest assured that your little ones will be safe with me!

It's safe to say that I love children and their families, but I also have a passion for photography. My passion must have came through on my images as I have been recognized as one of the top newborn and family photographers in the Birmingham, AL area! I would love the opportunity to work with you!

My engagement and wedding photographs took my breath away. I loved that the photographer captured even the smallest details from that day; everything from the rings to the cake. What impacted me the most was the way they captured the feeling of the moment. Here we are, years later, and those photos still make me feel what I felt that day. I knew then that I wanted to do that for others.

For years, I prayed that the Lord would place a passion in my heart for something that I could not only be good at, but that would also serve others. After my wedding, my mind kept returning to those photos. I knew then that my prayers had been answered and it was time to buy my first "real" camera.

In 2009, I started practicing with my friends' children. Since then, I have photographed hundreds of families and children. It never gets old, and I honestly can never shut my brain off from the creative aspects of photography. I am always dreaming up the next session.

I have been married to my husband Adam for thirteen years. Adam definitely helps to keep me organized and runs the behind the scenes business aspects of Angie Lansdon Photography. He also comes in handy when I need props and sets built! We have twin girls who definitely keep us on our toes and keep us busy!

Photography is truly my passion in life; it brings me so much joy, and I am thankful that I get to capture such important life events for people. I am a very sentimental person, and to know that I helped make heirlooms for generations to come is truly priceless.
