Family photos hold a special place in our hearts as they capture moments frozen in time, reminding us of the love and connections we share.
The moment you step onto the streets of a small town during a homecoming parade, you're immediately transported to a bygone era.
It takes a lot of courage to hand your new baby over to a complete stranger. My hope is that I make the session go as smoothly as possible, and make you feel like you are an old friend.
Oh my, this has to be one of my favorite Maternity sessions to date! Mama’s dont skip out on doing Maternity sessions. These are a beautiful way to document your family before your new baby arrives.
I knew as soon as they walked into the studio that it was going to be a wonderful session. I could not wait to take their photographs and start editing!
No one can tell you the immense amount of joy that an animal brings to your life, nor the pain and deep void that comes when we have to say goodbye to our fur babies.
I do not take it for granted. I still hold close to my heart the days I longed and prayed for exactly what I have now…
When one of the team mom’s came to me with the idea to do a softball princess themed photo session I could not wait to get started! It was so fun to see these girls dolled up in their fancy dresses and crowns, all while sporting their cleats and holding on to their softballs, bats, and gloves.
I love that she wants her babies to look timeless and classic. She has a love for heirloom clothes and has more bonnets than I could ever count. I always have to double check with her on play dates because I’m like “Are we doing play clothes? Or fancy play clothes?!!”
Time is precious. Pivotal moments deserve to be time stamped. This sweet mama knows that she is entering a season of change as she watches her little girl become a young lady.
I know, I know. Life happened and you meant get the photos taken. Before you know it, three years have passed, and your baby looks grown. Time has slipped away…
My home studio served me so well. I loved (and used) every single on if its 120 square feet! But I knew that family/friends and referrals would eventually reach a limit. I knew in my heart that potential clients were deciding to not reach out to me when they saw that I worked out of a home studio....and I couldn't blame them. Parents want to know exactly what they are walking into, especially when it comes to their newborn!
Maternity sessions have grown into one of my favorite types of sessions. I love hearing the parents-to-be talk about how they are getting prepared for the arrival of their little one! You can feel the excitement and nervousness!
Oh, my heart! Look how precious these three boys are! Whewww, I am a girl mom, so I know nothing about raising little boys!
Sometimes when I close my eyes and sit in a quiet place, I can still hear her voice. I used to remember every inflection, tone and crack in her voice. But over the years it has faded.
For those that know me personally, you will often hear me call people my “little lambs”. It’s a term of endearment that I have used for a long time! Well, yesterday I had a real little lamb in my studio!
Now that I have a beautiful all white studio, with lots of room, I am able to offer lifestyle studio sessions. What is this, you may ask? How is it different from my normal parent/family photos during a newborn session? Let me break it down for you!
Life is about to change for this sweet family in the best way! I could not be more excited for them!
This past weekend was literally a dream come true. Years of prayers and honestly, years of hard work. To be honest, there were times along the past ten years that I thought I might give up on this dream.
Are you a fan of color? Or do you like to keep more neutral? No matter what your style is, I have something for everyone. I always like to ask parents what…
I often get asked if families should include big brother and sister in Newborn photos… The answer is always YES!!
There is something about new beginnings, a fresh start, a blank page. Well, I for one welcome 2021 with open arms! I also shared recently on my social media pages that I took another huge leap of faith. OH MY GRACIOUS… it’s a big one!
It feels just like it was yesterday when I was photographing Gina and David’s engagement photos! My how times have changed!
I have been really into Heirloom sessions lately and love the classic and timeless look of these black and white photographs!
The Meer’s family is getting ready to have baby number 4 and I couldn’t be more thrilled to capture this special time!
I’m wondering why in the world I haven’t done this type of session before! Have you considered doing an outdoor newborn session??
This sweet family had booked me for a newborn session, and I was so excited to meet them, however, Covid had different plans.
Yall.. it was hottttt this day! Like blazing Alabama July no air moving kind of heat.. but you cannot tell from all of these smiles!
