Wow! If you are reading this, then you made it through 2020 onto 2021!! Praise Be!

It was definitely a doozy for all of us! I’m praying that we all can find something to look forward to in the new year. There is something about new beginnings, a fresh start, a blank page. Well, I for one welcome 2021 with open arms! I had one of the busiest Fall and Christmas seasons this year as far as photography goes. I am so thankful to all of you that show up and continually support my business. You are literally making my dreams come true and are answers to my prayers.

Many of you know that I am also a Pediatric Oncology Nurse Practitioner at Children’s of Alabama, and I finally did it….I went part time at the hospital! That has been a dream for a very long time, and I am so thankful that I was finally able to make the change. I was so tired of missing out in all of the tiny details of my children’s lives. You know, the ones that even seem mundane and trivial.  I want to be there for it all. This was a huge deal for my family and the decision didn’t come easily!

I also shared recently on my social media pages that I took another huge leap of faith. OH MY GRACIOUS… it’s a big one! I signed a lease for my first official commercial studio space! EEEKKKKK!!! Can you believe it?! I have prayed for this for many, many years and am amazed how the Lord is still fine tuning all of the details!  I have lots of things to share with you all in the near future and am so excited to share the renovation process!

While I have always been so thankful for my home studio, there are so many things that I want to be able to offer to my families and I am limited by space in my current home studio.  I can’t wait to see what this year holds, I have BIG BIG plans for 2021!!

I am so behind on all of my blogging from the Fall and Christmas busy season but wanted to share one of my favorite Sweet 16 sessions! This girl was a dream to photograph! She started off a little shy, but don’t worry yall... I don’t let anyone stay shy around me too long! Ha! I will have you feeling like we are long lost friends in no time! We had the best time going to Morris Avenue and Railroad Park! It was a gorgeous Fall day, and she picked the perfect outfits to compliment the season! Don’t yall forget to document all of the important milestones, even into the teenage years!!
